Affirmed Homecare is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide wellness support within a senior living community in Newark, NJ. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys preventive care, patient education, and building meaningful relationships with seniors in a community-based setting.

Position Overview:
The LPN will work within the wellness office of a senior citizen residential building, supporting residents through routine health monitoring and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and document vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.)
• Provide basic health assessments and wellness recommendations
• Offer health education and guidance to senior residents
• Promote preventative care and healthy lifestyle habits
• Communicate effectively with residents in both English and Spanish
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Schedule:

• Mondays
• 6 hours per day

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey LPN license
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
