Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – Evening & Weekend Shifts
Location: Newark, NJ
Setting: Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (1:1 Home Care)

Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced per diem Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for pediatric clients in Newark and the surrounding communities.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing skilled, individualized care in the comfort of a child’s home. We are currently hiring for evening and weekend shifts with flexible scheduling available.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate 1:1 nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
• Assess, monitor, and document changes in the patient’s condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure a safe home care environment

Pay Rate

• Registered Nurse (RN): $45.00 per hour

Available Shifts

• Evening Shifts
• Weekend Shifts

Flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred (home care or facility setting)
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past year (or chest X-ray within the past 5 years if applicable)
• Proof of MMR immunization
