Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Saturday Overnight Private Duty Case (Haskell, NJ)

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care for a 14-year-old female pediatric client in Haskell, NJ.

This is a Saturday overnight private duty case caring for a child with autism who utilizes a Trilogy ventilator with BiPAP support. The primary responsibility is to monitor the client throughout the shift and replace the BiPAP mask if it becomes dislodged, ensuring the client’s comfort and safety.

Shift Available

• Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Pay Rate

• LPN: $40.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate 1:1 pediatric nursing care in the home.
• Monitor the client’s respiratory status throughout the shift.
• Ensure the Trilogy ventilator and BiPAP mask remain properly in place and reposition the mask if it becomes dislodged.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
• Communicate any changes in the client’s condition to the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN License
• Pediatric experience preferred (home care or acute care)
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year (or chest X-ray within the past 5 years, if applicable)
• Proof of MMR immunization
• Proof of influenza vaccination or approved exemption
